Niiyama Shiho provided the voice of Seiya Kou/Sailor Star Fighter in Sailor Stars. She has also provided the voices for Takamura Suoh in CLAMP Campus Detectives, Deedlit in Record of Lodoss War, and Rei in Perfect Blue. She has also acted in numerous other anime and video games.

On February 7th, 2000, Niiyama Shiho passed away. She was suffering from kyuusei hakketsu byou, a form of leukemia.
